Speak to us in confidence
Your first message commits you to nothing: tell us what has happened and we will tell you where you stand — including whether we are the right firm for the matter.
It helps us give you a useful answer if your message sets out, in a few lines:
- what the matter is about;
- roughly when it arose;
- anything already filed, served, or notified;
- the outcome you are hoping for.
You do not need to use the right legal terms — plain description is enough.
Every enquiry is read by a lawyer before we reply. If we can take the matter on, we will explain the work involved and our fees before you instruct us, and we will run a conflict check before you send us anything sensitive.
Please keep confidential or privileged detail out of a first message and send documents only once we have agreed a secure way to exchange them. If the matter is urgent — a hearing, a detention, a deadline within days — telephone the office rather than sending an email.
